Well, around 11:30pm tonight I was leaving my parents house and low and behold, someone threw two bricks through both my back window and the other through my passenger side T-Top. One brick ended up in the car and the other skipped across the T-Top, smashing it in the process and ended up on the grass. The back window is completely shattered, the only thing that's holding it together is the window tint. The T-Top is completely shattered. There is body damage on the panel between the T-Top's and the hatch. Turns out, the guy across the street from my parents was also hit, as well as another guy whose windshield was completely shattered too. Most likely a bunch of punka$$ kids trying to be funny/cool/stupid etc... At first I thought it was personal and it got to me for a few minutes but when the police officer showed up to take the report, he said someone else was hit 30 minutes prior in the same subdivision no less. Then we saw the guys truck across the street that was also damanged. I'll be posting pictures tomorrow. I don't have time feeling sorry for myself as it could be much worse but the feeling definitely sucks...karma is a ***** too. Most likely I'll be filing an insurance claim, my first one ever, I'm 29 now. Anything you guys recommend or info I should know? Is it possible to get an OEM Nissan back window as well as an OEM T-top too? Do I have any leverage requesting the body shop to obtain these items? Any info is greatly appreciated, thanks.
